1.Saving Private Ryan; Saving Private Ryan is not just a movie, Its an epic to experience. Especially first 20 minutes of the film is amazing with realistic war sequence. This is my all time favorite Hollywood movie. Steven Spielberg direction and Tom Hanks action are undeniably brilliant.
2. Apocalyse Now : This is the Master piece of Francis Ford Coppola. This Intense war drama engages everyone and haunts even after watching the movie. It has one of best climaxes. Marlon Brando gave his career best performance.
3.Platoon : I liked Platoon because of its thought provoking concept. It is the best anti-war movie ever made. Realistic and Powerful characterisations penned by Oliver Stone are truely fantastic.
4. Lone Survivor: Lone Survivor's inspirational biolographical war drama makes it one of the best war movies ever. One should appreciate Peter berg for making the biography in realistic manner.
5.Black Hawk Down: Black Hawk Down is bloody, gory disturbing yet powerful war drama. Those who love to watch gory modern war action must watch Black Hawk Down.
